This woodblock print depicts the hero named “Lemillion” (AKA Mirio Togata / 通形ミリオ) from the anime “My Hero Academia” (MHA). It was carved and printed by me in mid-2022.
The image is based on this screenshot from episode 74 of MHA. (beware of spoilers in that episode if you check it out)
This short animation shows my tracing and color separation of the image; and how the colors combine when stacked to form the image.

Many of the prints were spoiled by areas on the blocks that were not carved deep enough. (You can see it a bit in the above image, behind the eyebrow). So I had to do some emergency clearing on some of the blocks while I was printing, and some of the blocks now look ugly as a result. At some point in the future, I’d like to touch up the blocks and do another printing.
